Longley Farm Fund Now Open
It's that time of year again! Applications are now open for another round of grants from the Longley Farm Farm Fund, and we'd love to hear from you if you have a project or group that needs some funding.
The fund is one of twelve managed by One Community, the Kirklees Community Foundation. The Foundation was established in 2010 to encourage local giving, and to act as an independent source of funding for local voluntary activities. It manages charitable funds on behalf of individuals and companies from across Kirklees.
Who can apply?
The Longley Farm Fund aims to support artistic, cultural and voluntary activities within the Graveship of Holme, so if you have a project that needs funding and your group is located in the Upper Holme Valley (Holmfirth, Austonley, Upperthong, Holme, Cartworth, Wooldale, Hepworth, Fulstone or Netherthong) we would love to hear from you.
How do I apply?
Applications are now online, so to apply, click here or visit One Community website www.one-community.org.uk
You should check the eligibility criteria on the website before making an application and if you need any help completing the form, or if you have any questions, please call the Foundation Office on 01484 468397
Applications will remain open until Wednesday 20th September 2016. Funding applications will then be considered on merit by a panel, and decisions will be announced before Christmas.
Don't meet the criteria?
If you have a great project but are based somewhere else in Kirklees, or you are worried your project doesn't fit the Longley Farm Fund, have a look on the One Community website. They have 12 different funds with a variety of aims, so it may be you can get funding elsewhere.
