Longley Farm Celebrates Success at the International Cheese & Dairy Awards 2026

At Longley Farm, we've always believed that great dairy products begin with great ingredients. That's why we work closely with farming families who share our commitment to quality, looking after every stage of the process from the farm through to the finished product.
This year's International Cheese & Dairy Awards gave us plenty to celebrate. Not only were we honoured to receive three trophies and a fantastic collection of Gold, Silver and Bronze awards, but we were also incredibly proud to see The Wright Family Dairy receive the ICDA Champion Milk Award and the prestigious Supreme Dairy Award for their pasteurised whole Jersey milk.
The Wright Family Dairy produce exceptional Jersey milk used in many of our products, and their award is a wonderful recognition of the care and dedication they put into their herd every day. We know that outstanding milk is the foundation of outstanding dairy products, so this achievement means just as much to us as it does to them.

It was lovely to be approached and congratulated by Lowri Wright after the presentations had finished so we could enjoy our success together. The fact that an award winning milk follows through into award winning dairy products is testament to a through and through quality that’s worth celebrating.
Three Trophy Wins
One of our proudest moments was seeing Natalia receive the trophy for Best Cheese by a Novice Cheesemaker. Although this was our first time entering the category, we knew she deserved the opportunity. Since joining the team, Natalia has shown genuine enthusiasm for cheesemaking, an eagerness to learn and a real understanding of the technical skill required for producing the very best quality. Everyone at Longley Farm is delighted to see her hard work recognised.


Another highlight came in the Snack Cheese category, where our 125g Natural Cottage Cheese proved its quality in freshness and conveniece to the judges competing against a range of innovative snack products, it was wonderful to see that a simple small pot of our natural cottage cheese could stand out amongst such strong competition.


Our third trophy was awarded to our Luxury Jersey Salted Butter for catering and professional use. Butter has always been an important part of Longley Farm. Whether it’s a 250g roll or a 10kg box our butter-making team put enormous care into every batch they produce. With butter being such a growing category there were over 30 entries across this year's different butter classes from both large and independent manufacturers to artisan producers, bringing home this trophy was a fantastic achievement for everyone involved.
