🌱 Good news! The deadline to apply to the Bright Green Community Trust has been extended until Friday 4th September!

The Bright Green Community Fund offers grants of up to £3,000 to support projects across the Holme Valley that directly or indirectly help to reduce carbon emissions.

Applications are welcomed from charities, community groups, schools, CICs, CASCs and other not-for-profit organisations across the Holme Valley Parish and the Graveship of Holme.

Projects could include:

🌿 Community food growing projects
🏡 Energy efficiency improvements
☀️ Renewable energy installations and solar panels
📚 Sustainability education programmes
🐝 Biodiversity and conservation projects
♻️ Pollution reduction initiatives
🚗 EV charging points
🚲 Bike charging facilities
🌎 Or other ideas that help reduce carbon emissions

The Bright Green Community Trust has already helped fund many fantastic projects across the area and is keen to support even more local organisations making a real environmental difference.
