How can I pay?
Payment is made when you place your order on our online store. You can pay by credit or debit card: Visa, Mastercard and Amex are all accepted.
Can I pay on collection?
No. Unfortunately, as our products are fresh products with use-by dates, we need payment in advance to avoid losses from product that is not collected.
When can I collect my order?
When you place your order you can choose what day you want to collect it. Orders are normally available to collect after 2pm the next working day. Collections can be made at any time of day or night and at weekends, however orders for weekend collections must be placed by 2pm on Thursday at the latest. Orders placed over the weekend will be available to collect from 2pm on Tuesday onwards.

Wednesday | Thursday after 2pm |
Thursday | Friday after 2pm |
Friday | Monday after 2pm |
Saturday | Tuesday after 2pm |

How will I know when my order is ready?
When your order has been placed in its locker, you will receive an email or text confirming that it is ready for collection and including your code to collect it from the lockers.
Where do I collect it from?
The lockers are located at Longley Farm Dairy (Longley Farm, Holmfirth, West Yorkshire, HD9 2JD), in the reception area. Go through the big glass doors in the carpark and the click and collect lockers will be in front of you.
What do I need to collect my order?
Just bring your locker code(s) to collect your products, and your order number just in case you require any technical support.
How do I operate the lockers?
When you reach the locker, type in the 8 digit code you received in your confirmation email or text and press the green button. The locker will then pop open and you can collect your products.
Why have I got more than one code?
Sometimes if you have placed a large order that will not fit in a single locker, we will need to put it in several lockers. You need a separate code to open each locker.
How long will my order stay in the locker?
Your order will stay in the locker for 5 days after the selected date of collection. If you do not collect it within that time we will remove it from the lockers. To rearrange collection, please call us on 01484 684151 or email contact@longleyfarm.com
Are the lockers accessible?
The lockers are situated on the ground floor, however, unfortunately the doors do not open automatically, so the area would not be easily accessible to someone in a wheelchair. If you would prefer your order to be placed in a lower locker to make it easier to reach, please put that in your order notes when placing the order. During normal office hours (Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm) there will be someone available to help you with your order should you need.
PRODUCT FAQ
Is your packaging recyclable?
Whether or not you can recycle our pots will depend on what your local council collects, so you are best to check on their website. If you look on the bottom of our packaging you will be able to see the recycle triangle with a number in it – this tells you what type of plastic the pots are made of.
Most of our cartons are made from polypropylene pots (5 – PP) This is because PP is lighter and more flexible, meaning it is less likely to crack; it is also more widely recyclable than PS.
Unfortunately, not all councils have facilities to process all types of plastic, meaning you may be able to recycle our pots in one part of the country but not the other.
We are constantly looking at alternative solutions for our plastic packaging as this is something we feel very strongly about here at Longley Farm.
We are currently looking at Poly Lactic Acid Pots which are biodegradable and compostable, Poly(lactic acid) or polylactic acid or polylactide (PLA) is a biodegradable and bioactive thermoplastic aliphatic polyester derived from renewable resources, such as corn starch and I would like to reassure you this is a road we are very keen to go down.
How long do your products last once opened?
Our products are made to last right until the use-by date once opened, providing that clean utensils are used each time, it is covered over and kept refrigerated. We always say if it smells or looks off then do not eat it.
To ensure the freshness and quality of our products, make sure to follow the proper storage and handling instructions. We continually test the use-by dates on our products to guarantee your satisfaction.
