At Longley Farm we've been making cottage cheese for nearly 50 years. In 2022 we have made the decision to remove the plastic over-lids on our cottage cheese range, to reduce the plastic consumption of Longley Farm to reduce our environmental impact.

Green Grants Available in the Holme Valley

Now in its fourth year of operation the Bright Green Community Trust (BGCT) is inviting applications from community-based groups in the Holme Valley for grants which can help deliver projects to reduce carbon emissions and build awareness of climate change.

Longley Farm staff raise over £4000 for Kirkwood Hospice

In 2019, members of staff at Longley Farm voted for local charity Kirkwood Hospice as our Charity of the Year. Over the course of the year, staff raised money by selling raffle tickets, bake sales, a sponsored walk and other fundraising events such as a summer BBQ and Christmas party.

New Greek Style Yogurt Now Available!

Longley Farm Greek style yogurt is now available! A fusion of two great cultures (excuse the pun): our Greek style yogurt combines the traditional Greek method of straining yogurt with over 70 years of Yorkshire dairying experience to create a deliciously thick and creamy yogurt.

Holmfirth Charity Tractor Run for Kirkwood Hospice

On 30^th June the annual Holmfirth Charity Tractor Run set off from Holmfirth, with 14 vintage tractors driving over 110 miles to Scarborough, and raising £3827.25 for Kirkwood Hospice in the process.

Gooseberry Yogurt Wins Supreme Champion Dairy Product

2019 was an excellent year at the Great Yorkshire Show for Longley Farm Gooseberry Yogurt, as it scooped up first prize in the best yogurt category, and also the highly coveted Supreme Champion Dairy Product award.
