Chocolate Truffles
Give these heart-warming truffles a go, super easy to whip up and adaptable to suit your taste buds. They practically vanish in your mouth, letting the flavours dance on your tongue! Perfect for sharing or treating yourself.
INGREDIENTS:
- 15g of Longley Farm’s Jersey Butter
- 150g of Longley Farm’s Double Cream
- 150g of Dark Chocolate
- 50g of Milk Chocolate
Toppings(optional)
- Dark or Milk Chocolate
- White Chocolate
- 40g of Cocoa Powder
- Desiccated Coconut
- Chopped Dried Apricots
- Sprinkles
INSTRUCTIONS:
- Heat the cream and butter in a saucepan
- Finely chop both chocolates
- Pour the warm cream mixture over the chocolate mix
- Blend until smooth and chill in the fridge until set
- Scoop out truffle-sized pieces using a melon scoop and roll them into balls
- Chill in the fridge before adding your toppings
- Decorate however you like
- If you want to decorate with chocolate gently heat each chocolate to 40°C for white and 50°C for dark/milk
- Roll your truffles in cocoa powder, desiccated coconut or sprinkles
- Store in the fridge and enjoy when you like
